"Jesus to a Child" is a song by George Michael, released in 1996 as the lead single from his third solo album, "Older." The song is a tribute to Michael's former partner, Anselmo Feleppa, who had died of an AIDS-related illness in 1993. The lyrics of the song are deeply personal and emotional, reflecting Michael's feelings of loss and grief after Feleppa's death. The title of the song refers to the idea of Feleppa being like a "child" to Michael, and the "Jesus" reference is a metaphor for the idea that Feleppa's spirit is now with God.
